Refuse Plastic Bags
As everyone probably knows, many shops now offer more sustainable bags for purchase so you can reuse them and not have to use plastic bags. In our house, we have loads of them in random places, so it's routine to grab one before going out. I would suggest, if you've bought one to put one somewhere you pass before leaving the house, that way if you think you might be shopping, you can grab it.Saying Hello and how are you
There's actually this really lovely show on CBeebies where the presenter presents in sign language, everyday you learn little lovely phrases to say in sign language and because the show is aimed at toddlers/little children it's really simple to learn. I can now introduce myself and ask the other person how they are, what their name is, etc, and odd little phrases...Overfilling
I'm getting better at this, but old habits die hard! When you're cooking or making tea, it's routine to fill it to the top-but I am getting better and now only use a little bit for teas and coffees...Ill cooking
Basically, with this dreaded flu going around, my whole family have been ill. I've already had it, so I'm in charge for a while and last Sunday I cooked an entire roast for my family (I've got 7 brothers and sisters, so you can imagine the amount of potatoes that needed peeling...) and actually enjoyed it...
