Mrs Watson & The Eco-Council at The William Allitt High School recycle their printer cartridges.They recycle school ones as well as bringing in theirs from home to send away, then they raise money from the cartridges to enable them to purchase gardening equipment for students to grow their own vegetables and flowers.
The William Allitt Secondary School has recycled 39 old mobiles to date
The William Allitt Secondary School in Swadlincote, has so far recycled 39 old mobile phones - our Eco-Council sends them off to Money4Schools, then uses the cash raised to purchase equipment needed for the Eco garden at school.We recycled old toys, books, videos etc...
Students at The William Allitt Secondary School in Swadlincote, donated old toys, books & videos as well as unwanted gifts to be recycled and sold over two lunchtimes in March.All the proceeds (over £86!!) were split between the Haiti Disaster Fund and Barnardo's.
Another recycled/charity sale will run again in July - watch this space.
