Paper play.
Today my co-worker and I spent the whole day making paper heart snowflakes for the store windows in honor of Valentines day. We felt like kids again, it was great.We know our neighbors.
I have given my number to 3 of our 4 neighbors in the building, and it is so nice to be friendly with all of them. We are always leaving baked goods on their doorsteps for fun, and they leave us goodies as well! I will have to go and get to know the mast neighbor, and go say hello to the family next door, they always seem so nice.A slight obsession...
In 2009 I read every book on the matter of food ethics that I could get my hands on. I have gone local, organic, etc, and I try to find places that raise crops in a sustainable manner and that have low carbon emissions. I feel healthier and I think the planet will be healthier for it too.Amazing people.
I do not have a lot of time in the morning to stop and listen, but I always take off my headphones when passing through the station. But in the evening I always stop and listen, and if I like it then I give what I have to spare, because music is very important and I know what it feels like to put yourself out there.And the tea goes on...
Well, at our house we make an entire pot of tea with all the water and what we do not drink gets put in the fridge and drunk as iced tea later on.Even better!
My boyfriend has been having a very stressful work week, so last night I unveiled the song I wrote for him and played it on my ukulele, not only did he smile but he cried a bit too! Such a sweetie!More fun!
We played Magic the Gathering instead of watching a movie!At work, I did something productive!
My co-worker and I spent the day making a big Valentines Day display as a substitute for our usual forms of goofing off!Hard to do sometimes.
When it is slow at work I get sucked in to the interwebs. But I will make an effort to get up and do something else for a while, even if it is putting something in rainbow order or what-have-you.
