eating what I grow
I am loving growing veggies! We only have chillies and peas at the moment but we have mushrooms that we will plant soon and I want to get some herbs and strawberries as well.appreciating the things I have
I have a lot of stuff because I am a big collector/hoarder. I value everything I own and get upset if something gets broken or lost. I am currently trying to recycle clothes I no longer wear but can't bear to part with, but haven't worked out a good method yet.making things
I made a felt animal that I hand sewed and some clay models. they are a bit (ok a lot) rough around the edges but I damn well did them myself!!my new garden
We finally re-surrected our backyard, and planted about 5 new trees which are still only very small but it is nice to know that what was once a barren area now has some new plant life in it.Energy SAving Light Bulbs
I find that the energy saving light bulbs drove me nuts at first, because they are dim to begin with before reaching full brightness. However, over time I found that I have gotten used to this so I am glad we made the change.
