Organ donation
In Australia you are asked on your drivers licence application, you can also register at any medicare office but the most important thing is to discuss it with your family as only one needs to object on the day and it won't happen even if you are registered as an organ donor.I have been through the process on the other end as a career for a family member who would have died without organ donation. It is hard to describe how sick they were and how amazing it was to get the call. It is not any easy process on anyone, and they were one of the lucky ones. Fantastic result and about four years after transplant they competed in the transplant olympics!
