Timeline
We did this action in our Acorn Literacy class at Canterbury College and came up with a killer idea
Our idea is that college should provide students with second hand laptops to do their homework on. The computers would be lent to the students on a short term loan basis. Computers would be provided by charities or bought with lottery funding. The Student Union class representatives (Dennis Altunay and James Tarvit) will be suggesting this idea at the next Student Union meeting. Good luck to themAcorn Literacy
We worked on this story in our adult literacy class at Canterbury College and included everyone's ideas...Once there was a tall man named Jim who sat on a bench. He was a professional footballer who was addicted to drugs. He was an alcoholic. He was a single and selfish man and very alone. He became diabetic and had both his legs amputed. His life was over.
