I did another thing!
Something else that I just remembered was how scared I was when I had to audition for a part in a musical, but with the encouragment of my friends and teachers I did it and realised... it wasn't as bad as I thought afterall. :)I did it!
I went to Auschwitz on a history project trip thing and I was really worried and scared before I went that I wouldn't be able to do it and that I wasn't prepared enough, I even thought about not taking the place that was offered to me but I did it! I was stronger than I thought and was really proud of myself afterwards.Hug Someone!
There's nothing that makes someone feel good like a hug :)I did it! :)
This was a stupidly hard thing for me not to do but I did it!Make Someone Smile
I do almost everyday. Usually involuntarily.I did something I didn't think I could do... and my judgement was revealed to be eerily accurate.
Basically, we all visited the ice rink with school. I have only ever been ice-skating once previously in my life, and that experience generated a lot of sleepless nights. However, I thought I'd throw caution to the wind (in fact, maybe the throwing motion was part of my subsequent problem) and try ice skating again, because I didn't think I could do it, and I wanted to, as our school WeAreWhatWeDo campaign pledge states; "Seize the Moment" (That's Action 28, Boffins). So, I got onto the ice in my rented skates, and, like Bambi at the start of, well, Bambi, I immediately started flailing about like an idiot. This continued for an hour. Accompanied by some horrific falls. But you know what? I kept getting back up, because Ice Skating isn't something I do every day, and other people who were having similar (but by no means as severe) problems tried all the harder too. I had a laugh, I learned something about myself, and I think everyone else's day was improved by the fact I was trying something that I didn't think I could do. I was proven right, but as they say, it's not the destination, it's the journey.
