In relation to this action, and also to it's picture. I fought valiantly for the whole summer, trying to grow a beard. However, it is now September 3rd, and I have just shaved, for the only thing resembling a beard I managed to grow was a load of bum fluff that stubbornly straddled my chin. And let's not talk about the 'tache.Layer Up!
I'm notorious for this. Up until about May, I tend to wear at least two to three layers of clothing. I'm one of those people who you stop listening to when talking because you have to lean in to check for yourself if they really are wearing such a ridiculous amount of layers.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q--6wtCPHg8

Read a book instead! I've got 6 lined up already for the summer:-"Wuthering Heights" - Emily Bronte
-"The Great Gatsby" - F. Scott Fitzgerald
- "On the Road" - Jack Kerouac
-"Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" -Hunter S. Thompson
-"The Big Sleep" - Raymond Chandler
-"A Kestrel for a Knave" - Barry Hines
I did something I didn't think I could do... and my judgement was revealed to be eerily accurate.
Basically, we all visited the ice rink with school. I have only ever been ice-skating once previously in my life, and that experience generated a lot of sleepless nights. However, I thought I'd throw caution to the wind (in fact, maybe the throwing motion was part of my subsequent problem) and try ice skating again, because I didn't think I could do it, and I wanted to, as our school WeAreWhatWeDo campaign pledge states; "Seize the Moment" (That's Action 28, Boffins). So, I got onto the ice in my rented skates, and, like Bambi at the start of, well, Bambi, I immediately started flailing about like an idiot. This continued for an hour. Accompanied by some horrific falls. But you know what? I kept getting back up, because Ice Skating isn't something I do every day, and other people who were having similar (but by no means as severe) problems tried all the harder too. I had a laugh, I learned something about myself, and I think everyone else's day was improved by the fact I was trying something that I didn't think I could do. I was proven right, but as they say, it's not the destination, it's the journey.Seize the moment film
