Things like turning off the tap when you're brushing your teeth, declining plastic bags, writing to someone who inspired you, or registering as organ donor.
We call these things Actions. And this Action Tracker helps you do more of them.
We've got 141 official Actions, which originally appeared in the books Change the World for a Fiver, Change the World 9-5, and Teach Your Granny to Text and other ways to Change the World.
On this site you can tell the world what you've done, share your stories, photos and videos, comment what other people have done, challenge others to do an Action or suggest your own Actions.
Everything you've done appears on your profile page and feeds into the Wall, which shows everyone's activity.
The Action Tracker totalisers the number of Actions done by you and by everyone, and for each individual Action calculates the combined real-world impact of the Action (for example, Turn off the tap whilst you brush your teeth has been done 94,746 times which means about 2,179,158 litres of water have been saved.)
Users can also track Actions as groups, so they can combine their impact and compare how their group is doing on the league table.
Each Action has a list of stats and facts, links for further info, and free downloadable resources attached to it to help you find out more.
The Classroom section also provides a load of resources for teachers and anyone working with under 18s.
Here you'll find the 'Teacher's Tool', which allows users to state what age group and subjects they are teaching and then automatically generates a series of appropriate activities and Actions.
The Classroom section also houses 'Useful Resouces', which collates a host of free downloadable worksheets, interactive wallcharts, posters and powerpoint assets, plus a wide range of short animation, and 'Make Stuff', which houses How To videos, tips and more free downloadable resources to help students make films, posters, presentations and other outputs to promote We Are What We Do Actions and campaigns.
The Campaign Planner is another handy tool, walking users step-by-step through the necessary stages in creating a campaign involving their class, school or community.
If you like these Actions you may also be interested in checking out our Action Stationery range. Chunky, durable and in sunglass-requiring shades, the range features notebooks in three different sizes, diaries (both academic and annual), pencils and bookmarks. You can get them all here.
