We would like to use these small everyday actions to get more people from different generations to spend more time together. We think that by having easy and fun starting points for young and older people to find out more about each other, they would actually realise that they have a lot to learn from each other

    Knitting together

    We've gone a couple of times to stich 'n bitch sessions ... basically there's groups all over the country. It's usually in a bar or cafe and is just an informal group of people that knit. So you go, take some woll, a couple of needles and just knit and chat. It's fun. You get to meet lots of different people. 22 February 2010, 17:23
