I wrote an e-mail to my favourite fantasy author just to tell him how I loved his books - and I even got a very nice answer. ;-) 13 October 2010, 20:31I wrote to
I wrote to a teacher of mine after I graduated because she helped me out so much when I was in her class for 2 years! If she didn't keep pushing me and challenging me then I probably would have given up! 07 May 2010, 17:58kk

Some thing in my life haven't gone well, but there has always been someone to pull me outa whatever hole I managed to put myself in.
Once I read this I realise how simple time on my part could change someone's day. I only joined a few hours ago and have already wrote a letter to an old teacher that really helped me a lot.
Without them I wouldn't be where I was today, and I don't think I ever told them that. 26 May 2009, 22:07
My heart broke with joy
I sent my postcard to my old nursery teacher. She helped take care of me when my mum left when i was small. We kept in touch all my life and she was my inspiration. Sadly she died of cancer not long after she recieved the card. At her funeral the vicar told how maggie had helped many children, 1st at nursery, then as a social worker and how 1 of the children had grown and had children of her own and had sent her a card to tell her how inspirational she was. The card was a great comfort to her in her illness at was still sitting on the mantle at home. I left the funeral knowning that she knew how much she meant to me and that small card from a book that cost a fiver, really did help my grief 30 September 2008, 12:52Community Links
Hey guys,
I saw Eugenie speak at an AIESEC event a couple of months back and I was really impressed. At the time I was working for a consultancy and pretty miserable so I was looking around for something a bit more meaningful.
Eugenie mentioned Community Links in Canning Town, and I thought "hmmm, I live there, I've never heard of it, so cool".
So, anyway, a recruitment consultant called me about a job at Community Links, which of course I recognised straight away, and here I am - working as the corporate events manager and couldn't be happier! Thanks for the inspiration.
Love the work you guys do!
Cheers,
