Putting a brick in your toilet follows Archimedes principle that the brick will displace water equal to its volume. This means with a brick in the bottom of the cistern the toilet will use less water per flush. The average person spends around 3 years of their life on the toilet, so think of all the water that could be saved by doing this simple action!
