Together with other colleagues I supported our workers' council collecting signatures against the sack of 840 employees. Protesting is the least we can do, better than to hold one's tongue. Silence would mean consent, wouldn't it? 25 April 2010, 11:22peace council

Cyber-activism
I'm a Greenpeace (and other ONGs) cyber-activist. If you want to say something to the governments or the multinationals about climate change or something like that, but you don't know how to say it, this is the best way. 11 March 2010, 11:43against animal testing

I have done this twice so far in the exhibitions I went as part of the We Are What We Do's Young Speakers where I have told many people about WAWWD and even got them to sign up to know more about WAWWD :)Eat More Meat
Without meat as your main source of protein, your body would soon die, as you need amino acids to build and repair, nearly everything, your very DNA is built up of coded amino acids. But do not eat just meat, as you would soon die of some sort of vitamin/mineral defiency, just eat more meat, and don't go veggie, unless you planning to eat alot of tofu. 16 June 2009, 14:48
Why to become a vegetarian
1) Eating meat or gelatine sweets is like getting an animal and taking a huge big bite out of it. 2) Cows live an average of 25-30 years, but are killed for meat after 1-2 years. 3) Vegetarians are slimmer and healthier that meat eaters. ***BUY FREE RANGE EGGS*** This is what battery farming is like: Hundreds of hens enter a cage at the age of two weeks old and stay in there for 52 weeks until slaughter. Each hen has less space than the size of an A4 piece of paper. They have no room to flap or stretch, no means to dust bathe, no perch on which to roost and no nest to lay an egg in (they never actually see what they produce). 70% of eggs produced in the UK still come from battery hens. Only 6% are produced by barn reared hens. 24% are produced by free range hens. On average a battery hen lays only 15 more eggs a year than a hen that has been kept in barn or free range conditions. Not persuaded you? Why not do some research of your own on battery farming and vegetarianism? 22 December 2008, 11:47Go Veggie!
If everyone went veggie, there would be less green house gases (cows), more rainforest (oxygen), and more food for the people. In some poor countries, fields and fields of corn are grown...to be used as food for meat cattle. If this food was given to people instead, we would be able to feed more than 2 million people now than we are doing now and the world would stop starving. People shout stop thinking about having bellies full of meat and start thinking about the poor people who have bellies full of nothing. From Shanti, age 14. 19 December 2008, 05:08Boycott Nestle
We all know that breastfeeding is best for babies so why does Nestle ( a rich coorporate giant) insist in trying to persuade mums to use formula. About 1.5 million babies die each year because they are not breastfed and Nestle is the chief culprit in persuading them not to. Join babymilk action today. www.babymilkaction.org STOP buying Nescafe, in fact stop buying ALL Nestle products. 09 November 2008, 19:14
